47th Annual Rockcliffe Book Fair

It's hard to believe, but the 47th annual Rockcliffe Book Fair is coming up fast – this year it will be taking place on November 7, 8 and 9, 2008 at Rockcliffe Park Public School.

As one of Ontario’s best used book fairs, the Rockcliffe Book Fair has thousands and thousands of used books for sale covering all ranges of subjects, including:

• a now expanded section devoted to used adult fiction, with thousands of hardcover and softcover books, ranging from literature and classic theatrical plays to thrillers and mysteries;
• thousands and thousands of non-fiction books, sorted into categories that range from Biography to War;
• used adult fiction and non-fiction in French and in other languages;
• a special section with a vast selection of used children’s books in both fiction and non-fiction, also sorted by age or category to make it easier to find the types of books your child will like;
• and used French children’s books as well as some in other languages.

But yes, we also sell new Children's Books. With the help of our retailers Books on Beechwood and Coin du Livre (and an RPPS teacher!) we have a wonderful selection of new children's books in both English and French -- perfect for early Christmas gift shopping!

.... and don't forget about our Rare/Collectible Book Silent Auction. Anyone is welcome to bid on the dozen or so books we identify as being rare or collectible. The progressive bidding system opens on Friday, November 7th and closes later on the weekend.

But that’s not all! Looking for used videotapes, audiotapes, records, dvds and cds? How about puzzles or games that the whole family can enjoy? Maybe you’re interested in old magazines? Look no farther than the Rockcliffe Book Fair!

The Rockcliffe Book Fair is located at the Rockcliffe Park Public School (entrance is located off of Springfield Avenue near Buena Vista). The hours are:

Friday November 7, 2008: 10 am to 9 pm
Saturday November 8, 2008: 10 am to 6 pm
Sunday November 9, 2008:11 am to 5 pm
