Welcome to Rockcliffe Park Book Fair!

Do you want your kids to be book lovers, as in sneak-a-flashlight-under-the-covers, beg-for-a-nighttime-story, know-their-way-around-the-library kind of book lovers?  So along with a sturdy bookshelf packed with favourite childhood titles and their very own library card, you should share a love of Book Fair!

 

Book Fair brings our community together around books, something as magical as the stories in the books themselves.  And this year, Book Fair is conjuring up more magic than ever as it celebrates books and readers with a nod to the magical world of Hogwarts and Harry Potter with it's theme 

The Magic of Reading.

Now in its 51^st year, Book Fair opens Friday November 2^nd and runs through to Sunday November 4th in Queen Juliana Hall, Rockcliffe Park Public School’s gymnasium.   Books are sorted into 64 categories and  this year we are pleased to announce that we have more books than ever!  There is something for everyone.   And don’t forget  – every dollar raised at Book Fair supports the public school and literacy programs - so that more children can discover the magic of books too.

 

But it takes more than a few waves of a magic wand to make Book Fair happen.   Book sorting starts October 19th and goes right up to November. And of course, help is always needed during Book Fair, with the set up, the Fair itself, and the tear down.   Please click here to volunteer.   Everyone -- muggles, wizards and witches included -- is welcome!
